Infuriating. Manic Depressive. Genius. These are but a few words that describe the enigmatic ‘Troy’, a Sydney icon who has lived a bold and colourful life. This documentary explores Troy’s past, working as a male prostitute, living as a woman named ‘Vanessa’ and being one of the longest surviving HIV patients in Australia, all the while being a successful film maker and musician, working with such artists as Hunters & Collectors, INXS and U2.
